The structure of the plate chain

A chain made of only chain plates and pins is called a balance chain.

　　 Plate chain structure:

　　 1) The plate chain consists of only the chain plate and the pin. The chain plates are connected by pins and bear the tension of the chain plates. The outer chain plate and the pin are interference fit, and the pin is riveted.

　　 2) The inner chain plate, the middle chain plate and the pin are in sliding fit. Through the chain plate, the pin is subjected to shearing force, and the inner surface of the hole of the inner chain plate slides when the chain is bent.
