What are the common ways of connecting the synchronous wheel and the shaft?
1. Key connectionThe key connection of the pulley transmits motion and torque by realizing the axial fixation between the shaft and the shaft surface and the parts. Some types of connection can realize axial fixation and transmit axial force, while some types can only realize axial dynamic connection. The shaft and the parts on the shaft are connected by a key and fixed in the circumferential direction to transmit torque. The key connection can also be divided into loose key connection, tight key connection and spline connection.
2. Tighten the coupling sleeve
The effect of the gap between the key and the keyway of the pulley on the use also requires the transmission device to have a relatively high and accurate positioning. When there are certain requirements, the tensioning connection sleeve between the synchronous pulley and the shaft will be used. The processing of the shaft and hole for installing the expansion sleeve does not require high-precision manufacturing tolerances like the interference fit. In this way, the connection method should be selected according to the torque transmitted by the synchronous belt. The specification of the expansion sleeve and the need to accurately calculate the increase pressure on tight joint surfaces. There is no need for heating, cooling or pressurizing equipment when installing the expansion sleeve, as long as the bolts are tightened according to the required torque. It can also be easily adjusted, and the hub can be flexibly adjusted to the required position on the shaft, and the expansion sleeve can also be used for parts with poor weldability.
3. Taper sleeve tightening
The structure of the taper sleeve is relatively unique, and its installation and disassembly are relatively convenient. When the inner hole of the hub is processed into a cone with the same taper as the bushing, then the hub and the bushing will be fitted with a tapered surface and bolts will be used to fasten the connection, and the bushing will be connected with a key and a shaft. Connection; after the bushing is connected with the hub, the narrow groove is used to cause the inner hole to deform, and the inner diameter of the bushing changes slightly, so that there is a certain amount of interference between the bushing and the shaft to ensure its transmission torque.
Remarks: For some small-sized synchronizing pulleys and pulleys with smaller transmission load requirements, D-shafts, pins, fastening screws or elastic retaining rings can be used for connection and positioning.
